The Summary

AdvantageIQ, a state-of-the-art platform from K3 Advantage, backed by the UK’s #1 Deal Advisors, integrates fragmented financial data, legacy systems, and generative AI to give business leaders a live, accurate picture of performance. To build this flagship product, they needed a visual story that could turn complex financial data aggregation into an engaging, accessible story.

DOGDOGDOG studio managed the project from start to finish. The goal was to create a video that demonstrated AdvantageIQ potential.


The Problem

Financial analytics and data integration can easily sound dry or too technical. The biggest challenge was translating abstract concepts like "plug & play integration", "conversational AI analytics", and "fragmented legacy systems" into a fluid, dynamic visual language. The video needed to appeal to executives and financial directors but also needed to strike a balance between corporate professionalism and cutting-edge tech aesthetics.

1. Conceptualisation & Storyboarding

The core theme of the video was driven by K3’s messaging: moving from data chaos to strategic clarity. The storyboard was structured to immediately highlight the pain point of misaligned legacy systems, before seamlessly transitioning into the solution. By plotting a clear visual journey, the boards mapped out exactly how the platform’s generative AI and interactive dashboards simplify decision-making.


2. Design

To ensure the video felt like an organic extension of the K3 Advantage brand, the design phase focused on sleek, modern compositions. This involved designing stylized representations of UI elements, data visualizations, and dynamic typography.


3. Animation

Bringing the designs to life required a sophisticated approach to motion. Utilizing a combination of robust 2D and 3D workflows, leveraging tools like After Effects and Blender. The animation focused on fluid, uninterrupted transitions. Disconnected data points were animated coming together into a unified, insight-driven interface, visually reinforcing the platform's core promise of speed and accuracy.


The Impact

The final video sits as the centerpiece of the new AdvantageIQ landing page. Because the design system was built to be highly cohesive, key frames and still assets from the animation were extracted and repurposed as the primary imagery throughout the site. This created a unified brand experience from the hero section all the way down to the footer, maximizing the value of the design assets across their digital footprint.
